Job Description:
· Assist in developing/enhancing engineering policies and procedures through implantation of best practice.
· Implementation of risk management and contract requirements.
· Ensure engineering integrity, assurance, schedule, and budget achieved.
· Ensure change management is implemented and variations have financial reward.
· Produce and suggest improvement ideas on KPI’s relating project/contract stakeholders.
· Provide support with the project and business resource requirements to enable the engagement of appropriately skilled and experienced personnel.
· Produce accurate project/contract reports in timely manner.
· Administer and implement Company, and where applicable, Client/Project policies and procedures.
· Review and preparation of prequalification and ITT/proposal documentation, inclusive of estimating and third party engagement.
· Prepare cost, man hour and cash forecasts based on updated progress, forecasts and trends.
· Ensure man hours and related cost are recorded and coded correctly and that all cost submissions are made as required in order to support cash flow.
· Identify any scope changes/variation and gain client approval.
· As required build detailed commercial claims to in support of Company entitlement and defend counter claims, for Purchase Orders and Subcontracts relating to our Clients, Suppliers and Sub-Contractors.
· Identify potential back charges from client/subcontractors.
· Provide assistance to Business Development strategies, activities and initiatives.
· Ensure compliance and implementation of applicable Legislation, Codes and Standards.
· All Responsibilities and Duties are relative to all Company Office and Sites.
Key Internal Interfaces: Line Manager, Managers & Directors, Discipline Personnel, Peers, Line Reports and other employees.
Key External Interfaces: Clients, Potential clients, Legislative & governing bodies, Suppliers, Vendors, Sector, industry peers
