The Role: To deliver a high quality, consistent and competent painting service in accordance with project and company requirements, standards and procedures. To ensure that all assigned workscope is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, materials or the environment. You will undertake painting duties including applications of industrial coatings, blasting, cleaning, wrapping and metal spraying to ensure the highest standard of finish for a range of surfaces, components or modules within the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, marine, Nuclear and Construction sector. Requirements – Potential Experience: Industrial Painter Blaster/Sprayers experience may include: Hand Painting Blasting Paint Spraying Thermal Spray Applicator Or all of the above Desirable Training/Qualifications – CSCS or ICATS Certification Train the Painer Coating Inspection School or Thermal Spraying Technology CCNSG (required for Site Work only) Forklift If you only have experience as a Blaster or Sprayer, there is potential opportunities to receive training in order to grow and develop your skills as an Industrial Painter. Your responsibilities will be: Overall responsibility for the safe execution of project and site/construction implementation Manage the construction implementation in full compliance with Safety, Cost and Schedule, QA & QC etc Manage the Pre-Construction Planning, Procurement and Execution strategy Managing the manpower and resources planning and mobilisation allocation Driving a Construction & Commissioning project strategy Managing the Procurement, Tender Evaluation and Selection of sub-contractors and follow through the implementation, forecasting and contract closeout Manage the QA Procedure and QC Compliance in implementation Managing and tracking of procurement, especially long lead items as well as bulk materials procurement and timely delivery Ensure the full implementation of Safety Procedures and Requirement Ensure construction organisation is adequate, that staff at all levels understand their role and responsibilities and that effective delegation takes place Assist with and co-ordinate the project design and constructability Prepare technical and financial proposals with the Proposal Manager Work the field staff to resolve technical and constructability issues Prepare and administrate multiple subcontracts Project Specifics: The position will be based onsite, starting ASAP through until the end of 2024, with the potential to transfer.  This role will report into the Project Manager. The working hours will initially be 44 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the potential to increase hours to suit the project requirements.
